It is what it is… MFA 2012 Blue team will a strong team to reckon with especially if the 3 girls playing up are suited up in a game. Soccer while a team game is in fact a personal development journey for each player. Kids should be challenged and encouraged to grow at their own pace with healthy dose of effective coaching. I like hybrid approach MFA has implemented with these 2012 girls - hopefully their parents will embrace the opportunities presented within.

Reality is you can’t please everyone!!! Some people will always complain no matter what MFA does with these talented girls. Some are bound to complain if thsee girls were limited to playing their age resulting in some annihilation of opponents while others will complain if these girls only played up questioning why they are not playing their age to make the team stronger. It’s a no win situation for MFA as some people will always hate.

Agree fully. Doesn’t make my comment any less true. Those parents who were pissed their kid was bumped out of position, or played fewer minutes when the stars showed up, or who are just plain jealous their kid isn’t a chosen one will continue to be pissed and jealous. By this point they should have known better than to believe anything would be different.

2012 age group will all come down to where the FA girls end up. They will go to PDA or MFA, and that will tip the scale either way. Just wait and watch.

Agree. The AGame girl was top 5 player on this 2012 team but from what I’ve gathered was not a difference maker a year up so it makes sense why the coaching staff wanted her and others to begin to play their age. The team may struggle without the top girls so I’d expect the 2012 team to lean more on them moving forward.

The 3 strongest players in any age group will help a team win more games but doesn’t necessarily mean the team can never win without them. Quit trying to ferment divisive sentiments by suggesting the girls that play their age group are ineffective or inferior in any way. Your 10 fingers are not all equal in size or impact but they serve their respective purposes.

Let’s compare apples to apples… how does Manchester City look without Erling Haaland, Kevin De Bruyne, and Jack Grealish??? Feel free to substitute ManCity with any world class team and tell me how they fare without their 3 biggest superstars.

They make a good point though. Some trolls hating on MFA as usual and simply stating that you take the three best players from any team and it weakens them. It doesn't dismiss the role of the other players but there is always going to be a variation of talent on any team. Look at the 2009 PDA team that just won the Nationals. The three MFA kids were the ones that took them over the edge in terms of achieving such a great accomplishment but it doesn't take anything away from the rest of the team. Realistically without those three girls they don't win the National Title.
