Wrong. CSA has 3 teams at this age level. Pre GA, Pre GA2, and Pre Academy 1.
None of the girls from the GA teams are currently on the roster for the Academy team. The academy team has enough players to be a 3rd team by themselves.
Some of them maybe 2014s playing up.

scorelines this weekend against weak MOSA teams in Lacey were horrible.

They have a "3rd" team so that when they go 11v11, they can easily collapse to 2 teams. 36 is an oddly specific number to carry (eg, perfect for 2 teams of 18). 3 teams at any age group is hard to sustain because the 3rd team is almost always really bad or f'd off that they are playing on a 3rd team, so go find opportunities elsewhere after a year or two or just quit soccer all together. Definitely more common on the boys side. CSA Bergen actually has 4 boys teams in most age groups.

They basically have enough for 2 11v11 teams, which most clubs will do around this age, especially for teams that will move to 11v11 in the Spring. Why they keep up the farce to say its something different is beyond me.

Either:
They are receiving pre GA help.
OR
They are misflighted in EDP1.
There is no in between… 2-2, 1-0, 0-6 were the scores against super weak teams who would be EDP 5 if lucky.

The 3rd team is a huge drop off from the 2nd team. They tied to a 4th division SJSL team and barely won 3rd division MOSA team. This team is Prem 4-5 Level max. Huge mistake by EDP.
