Early bloomers often times fall off. Not to say they won’t be good players when everyone else grows but the dominance typically fades and many times these kids do not end up being top players. Often times the style they learned to play as a prepubescent youngster will no longer be effective when other kids mature and get stronger and bigger frames. Moral of the story - stay humble and don’t be pompous dbag pos parent who thinks you’re better than the team because the reality is your kids 40 lbs advantage will likely fade as fast as it began.

You give any kid 40 extra lbs at this age they will automatically have the strongest shot, tackles and be a bull on the field if they have any semblance of athletic ability. It’s a massive advantage that others don’t yet have so let’s not act like these players are the next Alex Morgan. Parents be humble because if you’re not when that maturity gap closes you are going to regret it.

It’s 100% what you are saying. My kid is middle of the pack in size. Most bigger kids at this age unless they are athletic have to figure out their bodies . It’s clear that your kid is small and weak and it’s probably your fault. To sit here and say a kid is on good because of their size is pathetic. I have to agree with this here! At this young of an age bigger kids especially girls have to figure out their bodies . And once they do that’s when they usually not always take big strides in the game. That doesn’t replace good technique and foot skills. You can train as much as you want you can’t out train **** genetics.
