Haha I’m sure they will! I don’t waste my time analyzing game scores and matchups like most people. Of course interested in everyone’s opinion, hence why I’m on here. Parents on our team do discuss our opponents playing styles, who we think are great players, great plays from the week’s game. We chat about tourney results and surprise victories or losses in passing. It’s kid soccer, but fun to watch kids compete and we all spend an awful lot amount of time and money on it, so of course we have opinions and it’s pretty light hearted and positive.
A perfect example was Deptfords win at Players cup second bracket at the end of the season. It surprised most of the parents on our team. We talked about it in passing - Wow that’s cool! Who’d they beat? World class. Did they play anyone else we know or have played? Yea they killed MF Mercer and CSA1. Oh man, that’s crazy, they must be awfully good. Would love to play them was the sentiment.
They are all good teams, not sure with what the obsession is with being #1 in NJ in middle school club soccer and going into deep analysis about goal differential of random games. It’s hard to put a number on it so let the algorithm do the work and just let the kids compete.

Good for you. Why do we all need to know this?

Because kids & teams are being tallied up by ******* parents. It is unnecessary.
          Don't talk specific kids people.

Yup I said what I said . Kick and run with athletes. Never brought size into it. Coach is still a POS and they will fall off big time. Mark my words . Sign your name so your coach can see you sticking up for him nerd!!

Winning is winning who cares the method. I get we want to develope these kids. And that is the goal but winning is important without overlooking the development. Bigger faster more athletic kids always give very sound soccer teams a hard time. The arguments are just dumb. Doesn’t matter how u win. Too many haters here. If ur kid loses to a club well that’s life. Someone wins and someone loses. Go play where u want

I’m with you when people complain about kick and chase at u14+ because that’s really a result of running defensive lines that cheat high, but the difference here is that sound teams will pick apart early developed kids on a full sided soccer field, then when bodies catch up, those other kids are playing field hockey or something.

You are a clown who knows nothing about sports and breeding wining mentality. No one ever said I was a soccer coach. Like most (sorry ass coaches ) on here or parents. Ppl complain about how teams win. If you don’t like the style or the development that’s one thing. Move! But don’t talk to me about why or how they win. That’s a losers mentality and you and your kid are probably a loser!
with that said development is more important than winning at this age. And as a parent you should put that first.

Wow. Preach! I totally see your point. Fundamentals are top priority but the complaining on here about how and why it’s unfair teams play or win is wack!

Another person on this forum complaining how someone wins. It’s not guest players (which is legal btw) now it’s the style in which they play! Pls , come on.

I didn’t see anyone say anything about unfair. They said they’ll fall off because they never learned to play soccer. But whatever, to each his own. Personally, I’d say enjoy the wins as long as you can get them because this is a kids sport after all and they should be having fun. Good luck this coming season

Early bloomers often times fall off. Not to say they won’t be good players when everyone else grows but the dominance typically fades and many times these kids do not end up being top players. Often times the style they learned to play as a prepubescent youngster will no longer be effective when other kids mature and get stronger and bigger frames. Moral of the story - stay humble and don’t be pompous dbag pos parent who thinks you’re better than the team because the reality is your kids 40 lbs advantage will likely fade as fast as it began.

So you come on here and bash kids who are good and pretend little Karen will be good one day when she grows and that is only thing holding her back !! Best kid by far on my daughters team is the smallest !! Got it !!

Not at all what I’m saying. Clearly you are a father of an “big girl”. You sound like a real d bag. Enjoy it while it lasts because I bet it won’t!
