They are not kick and run at all. Best soccer with PDA in NJ who is a little more patient to their own detriment in the wins and loss column. It’s okay to play direct. They have some very technical players who are great on the ball and a clear style the team plays. Get the ball and secure a shot in a limited number of passes. They do pass back and change the field, but in a more limited sense than PDA. They don’t use many long passes and work up the line often for a cross or corner. At this age it is clean and effective and will continue to be, it’s what they play at the highest levels in the US. It’s somewhere in between direct and possession and that’s fine.

Soccer is a game decided objectively, by goals. The “best soccer” debate is way too subjective. Time of possession and completed passes don’t matter unless they create scoring opportunities. There are sports that award style points, soccer isn’t one of them.

not even close top the best soccer in NJ. I do agree on the technical player part but that team boots it up and hopes for goals at best. Watched the entire match vs RC and all I saw was kick and run. This won’t work in the older age groups though. Maybe you’re confusing their 2013’s with their 2012’s.
