I don’t understand EDP’s thought process with this. If you look at both Premier 1s, there are teams stronger in the Premier 2s. Why wouldn’t they re-shuffle it and do the best teams in each area as Premier 1. Some of these 2014 teams don’t even belong. SJEB I believe is a pretty far drive for most if not all of the teams as are some others from South Jersey. Probably better off doing a Premier North and Premier South. Then at U12 people will leave anyway for their pre ECNL leagues, etc

here is how the teams did last year. none of them have a resume to bump anyone from either Premier 1
Premier 2 Blue
Torpedoes - bombed out of Prem 1 and requested Prem 2
NJ Crush - Bombed out of Prem 1 with 0 wins, 8 losses (6 GF, 21 GA)
Kearny - 5th in Premier 2 (3W - 3L - 1D)
PDA White - 6th in Premie 2 (2W - 3L - 1D)
Bridgewater - 1st in Premier 3 and moving up to Premier 2 (6W- 1L)
STA MO - 2nd in Premier 3 and moving up to Premier 2 (5W - 2L)
Premier 2 Red
Philadelphia SC - Bombed out of Prem 1 with 1 wins, 5 losses, 1 draw (9 GF, 19 GA)
BOCA - Bombed out of Prem 1 with 0 wins, 5 losses, 2 draws (8 GF, 23 GA)
Council Rock / FC Bucks - Bombed out of Prem 1 with 0 wins, 6 losses, 1 draw (4 GF, 21 GA)
Real II - 4th in Premeir 2 (2W - 4L - 2D)
NJ Blaze - 5th in Premier 2 (2W - 5L - 1D)
Union County FC - 1st in Premier 3 and moving up to Premier 2 (7W- 0L)
Old Bridge - 2nd in Premier 3 and moving up to Premier 2 (6W - 1L)
Also it already is North and South. teams just request to go to different brackets. Red is South and Blue is North.

Based on what? There are 2 flavors of teams in both North and South. Those that beat up on teams in lower flights and those that were in Prem 1 in the fall and didn't have a lot of success. The former might be in for a rude awakening. Would love to see how you would rank all of the Premier 2 teams if they all played in one big flight

The same can be said for the south. Boca (tie), GAK (1-2 Loss), and MFS (tie) all played CSA1 very close. CSA played Kingsway and Nj surf to 1 goal games/ties. Gak also played Kingsway (0-2) and tied MF Mercer twice. GAK also beat STA twice and the torpedoes. The teams that were moved up would have had the same results as whoever was there last year. South clearly goes deeper with teams outside of the top 5 in central Atlantic - csa, mfs, real, sjeb, wcfc.

There’s also teams in Prem 2 North and South that would give NJ Premier a good game. Teams such as Bridgewater, Kearny, PDA White, Westfield. And for the teams that NJ Premier would beat would be the other 4 teams which are Council Rocks FC Bucks, NJ Blaze, Philadelphia SC, and STA MOSC. There’s also 2-3 teams in Prem 3 North that would beat a few of the teams in Prem 2 North and South. If EDP actually looked at all the matchup results carefully then they could make really competitive divisions even at U11.
