Cut from the A. Not the B. Not any incumbent MFS players either. The word is players flat out declined CSA b team who have nothing to do with either organization and CSA had to meld the remaining B acceptances and C acceptances to make one team and were adding players even late summer.
I have no idea if the new players who joined MFS (besides the 3 who left CSA) went to both tryouts. There can’t be many because they already had 8 or 9 players last year plus now 3 ex CSA.

Let me add that there is absolutely no problem with getting cut from that CSA A team. The B team as well is a good team. Let’s just not make up stories that the MFS girls tried out and got cut.

I think you are confusing 2013 with 2012. There was a 2012 player who didn’t make the A team at CSA and then joined MFA shore.

I think the top 4 are very solid. Real & Football Academy are also consistently playing well. I give the edge to some of the Northern teams because I think they are more battle tested and consistent to Southern teams. Over the years the southern teams have only recently started coming together aside from CSA who played up last year, SJEB who is much improved in the past 12 months, and BOCA who is continuing to fall off. Real, Match Fit Shore, Csa1, GAK are all much changed in the past 12-18m. The North has had much more competition over the past 2 years that has been consistent and I think that shows in score lines, tight games. I still think 7-20 is extremely close and a lot of good fun soccer to watch with some great players, just not as consistent tactically or technically as a team as 1-6.

The top 8 is solid list and play consistent good soccer and are trained by top coaches. After that the coaching and skill both drop off aside from a few players.

2013/2014 mixed team. EDP red 3 I believe with no wins and they don’t do many tournaments so that may be why you are not familiar. Lots of change in players this season. Shame that PDA Shore is not as competitive as it’s counterparts throughout NJ.
