I’ve seen all but 2 of the teams you listed in that top 20 and I would rank it completely different. Top 2 are clear. You can argue the order if you want. 3-5 are also clear you can argue order if you want. Teams in the 6-15 range are all pretty even. Not much difference between them.

MFA Morris just won PDA 4-0 and won SUSA 2-1 a team who won CSA Monmouth 4-1. That’s 4 goal difference against PDA and CSA Monmouth. Let’s not forget the draws the other time MFA played PDA and the other time CSA Monmouth played PDA. This means PDA should be 2nd and puts down the other teams. CSA Monmouth Pre-Academy 1 is definitely not a top 7 team considering the fact that they had close games in their division. Same thing for NJ Surf they are not a top 9 team considering the fact they had close games in their division too. Crush would fill in the spot for CSA Monmouth 1 #7th and GAK will fill in the spot for NJ Surf #9th. STA and Deptford should be switched. Old Bridge takes #13th. MFA Mercer goes up to #15th. Premier goes up by 1. EGSA goes down to #17th. CSA Monmouth 1 #18th and NJ Surf #19th. PDA White goes down by 2. Here’s what it should look like now.

      1.MFA Morris 2013G Pre-ECNL
      2.PDA Blue 2013G Stars
      3.CSA Monmouth 2013G Pre-Academy
      4.SJEB FC 2013G Pre-GA
      5.Real Jersey FC 2013G Pre-GA
      6.The FA 2013G Black
      7.NJ Crush FC 2013G Academy
      8.MFA Shore 2013G Blue
      9.GAK 2013G Iron Union
      10.Torpedoes SC 2013G Red
      11.Jersey Shore Boca 2013G Reign
      12.STA MUSC 2013G Pre-GA
      13.Old Bridge 2013G White
      14.Deptford Premier FC 2013G Fusion
      15.MFA Mercer 2013G Blue
      16.NJ Premier FC 2013G
      17.East Greenwich SA 2013G
      18.CSA Monmouth 2013G Pre-Academy 1
      19.NJ Surf 2013G South Marlton
      20.PDA White 2013G Stars

Im expecting the Prem 3 and 4 teams on this list to go up to Prem 2 next season. Also guessing that those PA teams will go back to their own state division/league. But there’s a lot of competition in this age group.

I just think that this age group is one of the strongest around. The top 10 teams can beat each other on any given day. Without any order, these are the teams I’m talking about:

GAK, SJEB, Crush, MFA Morris, MFA Shore, PDA, CSA Monmouth/Lacey, Real FC, FA Black, BOCA and then possibly Torpedoes when they play well.

your telling me Boca beats MFA, PDA, or CSA at any given day? Look at the scores. Any given day scores are less likely to happen in U11 now. Maybe U10 and U9.

Agree, BOCA is essentially done. Look for them to start dropping in the EDP ranks or at least they should. I am sure their coach will keep them in premier 1 but we all know that’s probably a mistake.

The top 3 CSA PDA MFA are pretty much in a league of their own. Match fit has proven themselves to be unequivocally the best in the state at this point.
Next tier is SJEB and Real - w ho could potentially lose to teams 6-20 or so. STA will continue to rise probably to number 6 collecting players up north who give up on their USYS teams. Between puberty on the horizon and an always changing (& disorganized) soccer landscape you don’t have a clue what the next 7-8 years holds for any of these girls. Just let them play.
And a final note - for the teams that wind up splitting up - USYS at the end of the day is still a better option than ECRL or GA rising at this point. It may not always be, but don’t be fooled by the pied piper.. there is absolutely no glory in being the best 10 year old soccer player, paying tens of thousands of dollars, or even being on the best team at this age. Your money and allegiance does not buy you a place on the team when a better player comes along at 14.

Matchfit are good right now. They bring intensity and run a lot but in a few years time, their players who they depend on (we all know who they are) will start to struggle, especially emotionally from the games I’ve watched those players. If you’re crying every time you make a mistake now, when there’s games that you don’t score in, which will happen, how do the remaining players respond. Do they have enough around them to match the same energy. When more teams play them, they will stop that threat and then you will see the best ‘teams’. For me, it’s still PDA, despite what yesterdays score line says, their whole unit is much stronger than any team I’ve seen. That geijg said, I haven’t seen the south bracket and would like to see cedar stars, Sjeb and Matchfit shore play. I think if they were added in to the other bracket with Matchfit, pda and FA (maybe sta or crush just fit another addition) that is a really tough group, with some fantastic players in. Hopefully these teams play each other more often because the competition is very good

lil bro first things first, SJEB and Real will never lose to a 6-20 place team 90% sure. Maybe 5-7th being the most. You also don’t have a clue on what the next 7-8 year holds for these girls.

I think it’s pretty obvious who the top 3 players in that MFA team are. I agree with you on the PDA part but 4-0 is a massive loss and also shows that MFA Morris is #1 in the state for now. Also agree on the competition part. There might be a chance that all these top teams will play in 1 division next season like they did with U12 Premier 1 combining the top North and South teams.

Also here’s a few videos of some of these South Jersey 2013 teams playing.

They only combined north and south at u12 because all those teams leave to play in their ‘pre’ GA or ECNL leagues. Although looking at this level it would probably be beneficial to just stay EDP and play. Games would be competitive and much less travel.
