It makes sense how the season is ending in this age group. All the ECNL and GA teams are at the top (besides PDA- but they play the best soccer and will get there with a few more attacking players)

the bottom half is ECRL and EDP team clubs. So makes sense. MFA shore will be superstars in ECRL northeast in two years if they all stay. I’m sure some will leave for a better league though.

Anyone who can’t make pda blue goes to MFA Morris.

anyone who can’t make CSA Monmouth goes to match fit shore.

How will the fall look? Was this the last year we get to see all these teams together? Aren't like 20 or 25 teams leaving for pre-Club v Club league - GA, ECNL/ECNL2, NAL, whatever? I guess a bunch of the teams might play in both leagues or will it end up being just town teams and FA? I think NAL and pre-GA start at U12 now, right?

Most will play in both at least for fall season. I’m guessing some with play up 11v11 in spring

Match Fit, PDA Blue, PDA White and PDA South move to the Pre-ECNL North Atlantic division.
World Class moves to the Pre-ECNL New England division.

CSA Monmouth Pre-Academy, CSA Monmouth Pre-Academy 1, CSA Bergen Pre GA and STA move to the Pre-GA Northeast Division.

SJEB and Real will Most likely be in the National League in EDP 1 at u13 unless they formed a Pre GA mid Atlantic Dvision. They have historically played up 11v11 in the past.
Match Fit Shore will also be playing 11 v 11.

I think all the NAL and ECRL / E64 teams will remain in EDP for 1 more year.

            Top Flight should be:
FA, NJ Premier, East Greenwich, NJ Surf South, Match Fit Mercer, NJ Crush, Torpedoes, CSA Monmouth Pre-Academy 2, Deptford

ECRL teams I don’t believe play EDP. EDP Top flight will be v low

There is no Pre-ECRL league, so where would they play? The ECRL is a step down from EDP 1, why would they drop.

There is for New England, or at least there has been.

If ECRL is a step down from EDP 1, who exactly makes it a step up? All of the teams playing in Prem 3 right now?

ECRL is another dream these clubs are selling. You can put lipstick on a pig but it’s still a pig. There is no real difference between it and EDP upper div. Pre ecnl another story. Also most top clubs will play pre ecnl and up 11v11 edp.

two pre ECRL teams playing in EDP this year. There was no pre ECRL league for the NJ teams that I’m aware of. If I’m wrong, please provide information so I can learn.

I agree to a point. I have to d’s both different levels skill wise. Not everyone is cut out for ECNL. My one d is and the other isn’t. There are different leagues and flights/divisions for a reason. Clubs just don’t like to be honest with you.

No one’s wants to admit it but pre ECRL and ECRL is not a place anyone wants to be. Again that’s why there are leagues divisions and tiers. But let’s be clear ECRL is not top tier and if you want your daughter to continue moving up ECNL is the goal. You aren’t gonna catch a bunch of Division 1 scouts at ECRL showcases! It might hurt but it’s the truth. Doesn’t mean it’s horrible soccer and that you shouldn’t be proud if your D plays there. Just facts. I have 2 D’s a year apart one in each ECNL and ECRL I see it first hand.

We all know it’s a big difference. However not everyone will play at the highest level. So they may prefer ECRL for that reason.
