Kick and run still exists even in the Prem 1-2 divisions basically all the town teams in those divisions play kick n run.

Kick and run has a place. Using that pejoratively means you don’t actually understand soccer. Teams foolishly play high lines or press when they shouldn’t and the right play is long/over the top.

Not at all. They have some wingers who have a lot of athleticism, but are also extremely technical players.. by and large they have an extremely tactical and technical team.

its probably silly it even exists. they should have balanced out Premier 2 a bit better and just gone with a single Premier 1

Yes. There are clearly some teams that are still flights wrong. That’s the true bottom line here, no?

Team chemistry is probably crap for most of these above average teams. Most won’t be around in same capacity next fall if they already haven’t lost players over the winter. Players, parents, coaches know it. Tryouts have happened, decisions have been made, players are moving on. One of the major cases to push tryouts back is to allow the spring to be more of a typical season. Plus they are 10.

definitely. Also the difference between 2-0 and 6-0 in a small sided game at 10 and 11 years old really isnt much. Give up a quick goal or make a mistake in the back and the wheels can come off in a hurry. They are little kids after all...

I still understand what NJ Premier was thinking with the flighting. I really feel bad for those girls. Its possible they do not score a goal all season. I don't see what is gained from putting them through that.

Those girls are good players. Just in the wrong flight this season.
