There are as many clubs as needed to fulfill events and activities to draw colleges to them for one-stop shopping. If there were, say, a total of 2-3 teams between ECNL and GA, colleges would need to start to filter to different leagues more often to view players. While that could be interpreted as a good thing for the playing public, it surely wouldn't be for the colleges. That's the game and that's how it's played. Don't have to liked it, don't have to get involved in it. If that's not your/your kid's intent, then plenty of other places to play.Originally posted by Guest View PostComment

White is definitely not a good team. But it is a good litmus test as to where your D stands in terms of talent. If you are new to PDA North, I would recommend taking the White spot that is offered to your D. She will play in the ECNL and if she starts, plays a lot, and is top talent on White, Blue will consider the potential of bringing her up. This happens, contrary to what anyone else says. On the flip side though, if she doesn’t start and comes of the bench on the White team, perhaps you might think about going to an club in GA or EDP where she WILL get more playing time that would contribute to her development. It’s hard to develop if you’re riding the pine. And most importantly, you have to be honest with yourself and your D given either resultsComment
