Ecnl. Ecrl. GA. Dpl. Edp. Mosa. All I hear Is a bunch of dudes who never made it past school ball. How in the **** does this have an effect on anyone in here lmfao. If your kid plays encnl awesome. Not every person needs or wants a full ride for sports d1. Everyone needs to dig deep into their minds, and find a life other then this useless nonsense. It's truly amazing grown men picking on young kids sports. Don't like it pack your **** and go to Europe if your kids is ready to compete. If not stfu and let people and kids enjoy this sport they love.

If an EDP team is offered ECRL do you think they would take it in this environment
Next teams to get a bite of the apple would be Torpedos, Valencia, Berna and I’m sure they would bite their hand off at this chance like everyone else has.

you know nothing about college recruiting or placement, just lookup how many 04, 05 players from pda white ecnl committed to small d3 schools. I can assure no one from pda white or pda south 09 ecnl is going anywhere near a recognized D1 program! so what are you talking about? you think college coaches care about ECRL 2 or ecnl or any of that horse crap? stop embarrassing yourself and if want a class on collegiate sports or soccer send me your #

I disagree, you are only seeing what you see today. I think this league will grow inside the ECNL platform One has to ask themselves, would you rather have your daughter play for the ECRL 3rd team or 4th team inside the National club structure or play for a particular club that is strong and growing and is the number 1 team for that club and they also play inside the ECNL structure. They get to attend all the tournaments. I think there will be lower-level clubs that will not ever be strong inside the Ecrl2 but there will be clubs across the country, including the tri-state area, that will grow inside the system. you will always have to look at your choices and then decide but the answer certainly isn't automatic, It will depend on the club.

That’s what the average EDP teams have done that got accepted - NJ crush probably best out of that list but NLSA,FC Copa, Roxbury, PSA Monmouth - ridiculous. Only half decent EDP club left without a status is FA and I’d be very surprised they would join this below average league.

Adding the current ECNL clubs additional RL was probably a condition by those clubs to get the division added, politics... i'd be surprised if those "C" teams get out of the bottom 3rd in the division but time will tell-

How are these clubs going to grow? They can't win against ECNL or GA clubs now and most couldn't win against RL teams. These clubs will be playing against 3rd-5th teams of actual ECNL clubs, basically what most of these clubs are doing now anyway in EDP, so all they have done is change the league name. The only showcases that the RL teams play in are the RL ones and the lower levels of events like the PDA Showcase. Have you ever looked at the scout list at the RL events? Not exactly a who's who in college soccer. What ECNL is doing here isn't the same as across the country. Every other RL league has RL only teams in it except North Atlantic and New England. None of the other RL leagues cross multiple current conferences and have RL only clubs in it. This is lipstick on a pig looking to entrap anyone dumb enough to sign up. No smart player is going to flock to one of these clubs because of RL and even if they did they won't stay more than a year.

The answer is simple, the new RL league does not have a direct line to ECNL and will instead be the beginnings of a 3rd tier league. They filled it full of clubs that are satellite clubs of current ECNL and average local clubs that have been on the outside looking in and chopping at the bit to join ECNL or GA but have been denied.

Clubs like World Class NY, Match Fit Denville, East Meadow NY are very worried about their ECRL teams. All these clubs understand the downfall to their 2nd teams with this new ECRL league. Why stay and play on a 2nd team when you can go play for a first team, help club get promoted to ECNL. There is that stigma with college coaches for players playing on 2nd team compared to a first team.

I think parents are pretty smart by u13 that if your kid is playing ECRL, it’s more than likely not gonna amount to anything.

Any player helping their club get promoted to ECNL will NOT benefit playing in ECNL since it takes many years for a club to get the offer. They are only helping the owners

Many girls we know quit ECRL teams by high school and just played high school in fall and a local team for fun in the off-season. ECRL is not worth the time, travel or money for a high school girl. Better off focusing on academics at that point and attempting to earn merit money toward college.
