People have asked, however the B team also has players who's playing shouldn't be sacrificed because of this. The solution should good coaching and team management. If you give an offer to whatever team, it's the obligation of the club and their coaches to fulfill it.

I'm not going to jump on the 'beat Kelly up' bandwagon here -although it would be easy to- but it might be a little trolling but it is NOT untrue (except the PB&J one seems silly) We're on one of Kelly's teams and I can tell you with 100% certainty that she says things to the girls that sound terrible coming from someone who is supposed to be (and portrays herself as) a female role model. All I'll say is this from a jumping on the bandwagon point of view b/c this should 100% be off limits, these girls are growing and bodies are changing and outside of soccer in society, females have enough pressure on them and get shamed enough and deal with so many insecurities, so when Kelly comments about someone's size, shape or speed being a detriment to soccer (yes she has 100% done this trust me) it is not only damaging to the kid from a soccer point of view it is damaging to the girl. So when she says, "I was them once", well SMH.

And BTW don't ask "what team are you on" or "that is not a specific example" bc who would provide either of those when it would immediately identify the player/family in question. It is dumb to ask that.

My D has mentioned similar comments made from Kelly. It's very sad that she is that immature. I remember when I played soccer back in the day. How we loved and trusted our coach. This is definitely not the case with Kelly. The entire team hates her and has no trust.

Can you not lump Blue with the rest of those who believe they are getting what we are. There are multiple PDA’s. Only one that gets tech and quality coaching

I agree, only blue is getting quality development as it's their top team. The difference is that STA cannot provide good development to any team regardless if it's there top team. At PDA the Blue team is clearly better than the white team. At STA the NL teams are just as good, if not better than their GA teams. This is due to hard working quality players not wanting to play for Kelly and Tom.

Can you provide the names of the girls who were not offered spots on the GA teams? This would tell us very quickly who are the parents posting here.

Why don't you put your name here too so we all know who the valiant defenders of all things STA are? Some parents are obviously overboard with their criticisms but there is a lot of truth in this thread too.

Like many teams, STA has some crazy parents. But on this TS, the only ones defending all the things at STA and Kelly for that matter are the STA coaches. STA will not make Champions league next year and they see everything falling apart. If they focused on player and team development, perhaps players wouldn't be leaving.

The attempts at team development are misguided. They have mandatory bonding events but then the coaches don't treat the players equally. Some can miss practices with no real consequences, can mistreat teammates, can have problem parents, but still get more attention, coaching and opportunity. The other players are super aware of this stuff.. so no matter how much forced bonding you do, the girls know there are very distinct groups of players in the coach's eyes. You're never gonna have a true team when you operate this way.
