Oh really? My daughter along with many others that I know all received GA offers and declined. Some chose to stay on the B team, or leave STA so that they wouldn't have to deal with Kelly.

Pda and wc both recruit the same way. Do you think those clubs are developing? The girls at those clubs are just numbers.

Except that PDA and WC develop their players both technically and game ready with quality coaches.

Can you not lump Blue with the rest of those who believe they are getting what we are. There are multiple PDA’s. Only one that gets tech and quality coaching

So you know better than the coaches. You're one of those parents that complain about the teacher until you get them fired because the were unfair to your kid. I guess I grew up in a different time when we respected the teachers or coaches and didn't try to embarrass them in public. I'm not on the team but all I hear is she bad and doesn't develop the players but I don't see any specific examples. The only thing I hear is she's recruiting and not developing. Sounds like the parent of the kids being left out are taking out their frustration on this forum.

I'm not going to jump on the 'beat Kelly up' bandwagon here -although it would be easy to- but it might be a little trolling but it is NOT untrue (except the PB&J one seems silly) We're on one of Kelly's teams and I can tell you with 100% certainty that she says things to the girls that sound terrible coming from someone who is supposed to be (and portrays herself as) a female role model. All I'll say is this from a jumping on the bandwagon point of view b/c this should 100% be off limits, these girls are growing and bodies are changing and outside of soccer in society, females have enough pressure on them and get shamed enough and deal with so many insecurities, so when Kelly comments about someone's size, shape or speed being a detriment to soccer (yes she has 100% done this trust me) it is not only damaging to the kid from a soccer point of view it is damaging to the girl. So when she says, "I was them once", well SMH.

And BTW don't ask "what team are you on" or "that is not a specific example" bc who would provide either of those when it would immediately identify the player/family in question. It is dumb to ask that.

um, no s**t. What kinda dr obvious statement is that of course it is but that does not mean you tell a girl "she fouls too much b/c she is so big", or you put a water bottle on her head and say, "this is how much taller everyone is that you" or you say, "you have grown a lot and now you are slow". Put the kid on the B team and move on, but saying stuff like that goes beyond soccer and is borderline abuse. So now a girl will go home and look at herself in the mirror and say, 'I'm too big" or "too short" or "I wish I wasn't growing so I was faster".
