What is happening with this team?? Their players have been at different tryouts or training with other teams this Winter. The club has put this team on the back burner!

I would assume that the post is about the girls pre-ECNL team. The team has gone through to coaches already and it’s questionable if that coach is staying as she has several squads. They play 9v9 so they can carry a big roster but play in lower divisions in leagues/tournaments. People fall for the game as usual and are unhappy in the end when their daughter is replaced because she doesn’t improve.

No stress, clubs like the Torpedoes or Clarkstown have all of their players end up there in the end. They promise them the world and then move them to the 2nd/3rd/10th team!!!!

2013 isn’t pre ECNL, 2011 is.

The 2011 team has been historically very bad by ECNL standards but they have recently improved which I’m sure comes from upgrading roster spots. I think a few from Torpedoes have recently joined.

2013 is far too young to be worried about this stuff if the headline is accurate.

Right? It all changes over the next few years. The bigger field and puberty changes tjings up. Some players drop out. Nee Ines come in. Voaches change. Find a good coach for your kid and reasses needs each year. By U13-U14 most of the area's stronger players move into the stronger leagues and clubs. That includes WC. A ulittle roster won't look the same by U14.

WC is never gonna be concerned about anyone this young. Their ecnl team for this age group when they get to HS is comprised of kids currently still playing at clarkstown and all over nj, westchester and orange county. Nevermind when they get kids from albany.

You can't argue both ways - call 2011 pre-ECNL and then say they are bad by ECNL standards. You clearly are a biased Torpedoes parent, who thinks one player can make the team.

Makes zero sense. 2011 age group for all ECNL clubs IS pre-ECNL. And yes, this 2011 World Class team has been terrible by ECNL standards.

My original point was 2013 is U10 which is 2 years away from pre ECNL.

LOL! My bad, sour grapes, your DD wasn't chosen for the WC pre-ECNL team. Who else keeps track of 2011 scores? I just checked and they are in the middle of their pre-ECNL league table, which doesn't make them "terrible".
