Dont think it is happening, but:
It's kind of funny. Anyone can buy a badge. PDA already has 3 ECNL and 3 ECRL teams. What are they going to put in there, PDA Garfield? It would be their "7th best team", so what does that say about the quality of this new group?
whatever teams play there I am SURE they will NOT be playing any EDP teams at tournaments. They wouldnt want people to see the results.

Major Announcement: Match Fit Academy Shore Announced to
New ECNL-RL Conference For 2023-2024 Season
Dear Families,
When Match Fit Academy Shore began in 2020, Director of Coaching Dominick Bucci and Shore Director of Coaching Ryan Tetro wanted to provide a platform for a handful of female athletes to continue their soccer development.
While it was part of the greater plan to grow into a full-fledged boys and girls academy structure, similar to the historic success of Match Fit Academy Girls ECNL out of Morris County, little did they know that the recognition and opportunities for the program’s athletes would take off in just three years.
First, we’d like to thank you for allowing us to be a part of your child’s development. We know its massive family decision when it comes to youth sports, and we do not take your decision lightly.
That said, we are proud to announce
As part of the ECNL’s expansion in the ECNL-RL, Match Fit Academy Shore has been named as a member of the new ECNL-RL Girls Northeast Conference. Competition for the U13-U19 age groups will begin with the 2023-2024 season.
Structure
Play approximately 14 - 16 League games
Possible single table or two divisions with crossover games
ECRL level showcases and events
The ECNL platform, publicly recognized as one of the top youth soccer platforms for female athletes in the United States, has created a model that will see programs earn their way into the full ECNL/ECNL-RL program.
Our mission remains the same:
This new conference has now been provided to Match Fit Academy Shore as the entire club continues to earn a second, full ECNL/ECNL-RL designation. In addition, the ECNL RL Northeast program will operate independently, allowing the current ECRL designation in the North Atlantic Conference back to the Match Fit Academy Morris location.
“For years, there are many clubs in the shore area that have strived to be the marquee academy,” Match Fit Academy Girls Director of Coaching Dominick Bucci said. “With this platform, and the resources that we have allocated to this division, this is just the beginning for our shore athletes and families. We will continue to strive to be a focal point of the ECNL for our region for years to come.”
“We are excited to provide our athletes with the opportunity to compete in a league that has a proven track record of offering the highest level of youth soccer competition and direct pathways to all levels of college soccer,” Match Fit Academy Shore Director of Coaching Ryan Tetro said. “We are thankful to the ECNL for providing this opportunity and look forward to showcasing the talent at the Shore area.”
As part of this new conference, Match Fit Academy Shore ECNL-RL teams will compete and train out of the Tinton Falls, NJ area.

Wasn't MFA Shore already RL team or is it a MFA RL team in Morris? In addition to the ECNL in Morris.

Wrong, NJ Crush was just added to this ECRL conference.
What is likely nonsense is the dream that your team could be promoted to ECNL from the ECRL. I think that’s being sold to some.
