Back to soccer, good showing in a super tough group at Jeff Cup for PDA '10s. Definetly signs of improvement this spring for that group. BSC '10s got a cake walk in their group at Jeff Cup but still had to take down the best team on the East coast in Penn Fusion in an exiting final. BSC still has the best team/best individual players (tournament team?), but Penn Fusion is probably the toughest/deepest team to play against, 15-16 girls who can all play, no drop-off with subs which is why they will win the league (the regular season). Special group at Penn Fusion, but still cannot claim dominance over BSC after Jeff Cup performance/results. Eastern Regional results last Spring as u-12's. Most importantly for this thread North Atlantic showing its dominance for ECNL conferences on the East coast.

Bethesda parent here. I'd say PF has 6-7 very good players, a handful in the middle, and couple end of the roster players who will prob get replaced. We should have beaten them the previous weekend. I would definitely not say they can claim dominance over us by any means. we have seen them enough to know the players. I don't think they are nearly as deep as you do.

I was surprised at our bracket. VDA and Concorde were pretty weak. SJ gave us a lot of trouble even though I feel like we were superior. They have 3-4 excellent players and were physical. But we had the most depth of any team in our group. VDA was the biggest team and had one very good striker, but we were too fast for them. Concorde just wasn't that good. I'll take our team against anyone including PF, PDA, MFA.

PF10 lost to Bethesda on PK's in final. it shouldn't happen and i can guarantee you it will not happen again.
PF11 run over everyone at Jeff Cup, 4 wins, one goal allowed at entire tournament. They were just different level.

BSC dominated possession for most of the second half got a free kick goal, and PF tied it with seconds to go throwing the kitchen sink at BSC. Amazing game! Extra time was quick and uneventful and then BSC goalie was a beast in PK’s. Penalties will always go to BSC with their adult sized goalie. Score line is not reflective of how dominant BSC was in possession, not playing long ball, and wearing out a PF team eventhough they used all their subs throughout the game and overtime period. This BSC is different than what you might have saw in the fall, haters be careful, possession kills and they jus wear you out eventually

Sounds like you were there lol..? Cause you’re right! Bethesda made one sub each half, not a deep team but when we are clicking watch out cause the ball does the work. Hats off to PF we’ll be battling for years to come, Join the fun PDA, we all get better by challenging each other with the best.

PDA will add until they find the right girls they can win with. They are incapable of development. If I was a parent on the current 10 team I’d stay awake. They days are numbered. They will recruit their way to relevance and your kid will be tossed aside.

FK could train his girls 7 days per week and they will never come within 6 goals of pda blue. So if you think coaches are capable of turning straw to gold you are wrong. Every single club will take the best players available to them. PDA absolutely develops girls as we as any other club. Unfortunately for some girls at PDA they get pushed down when they no longer have a spot do to other girls who are better that show up and want to join the club. But nobody should be surprised or have to stay awake as you say bc everyone who joins PDA understands the reality of better players showing up.
