I would put money on the fact the coach doesn’t like the parents and wants them to leave. If anyone thinks that parents behavior and attitude doesn’t ever effect PT, you must not be living in reality.
You treat people individually based on your experience with them.

And as the minutes were officially recorded like in college, it was easy to track. They had to start, they had to play, they had to be rostered a certain amount.
A great idea that should be carried forward in all leagues. This way all kids get to play and develop.

Any parent okay with this should turn in their parent plaque. Mental health issues come from coaches playing head games with players. Everyone has a breaking point.

They shouldn't be punished becauseof their parents. Yes of course coaches shouldn't take players they don't think will add value. But they're human and make mistakes. Plus some coaches take over rosters they didn't chose. Kids should get meaningful PT but starting u13 - u14 more PT should be earned. Parents of bench warmers need to have a frank discussion with a coach and their player about finding a better fit.
I have watched coaches keep and not play kids so their opponents can't get them. Some coaches forget it is the kid's experience not theirs.
