Why are Real coaches so terrible?

I understand that they needed to take whoever was available when the club was started but why haven't they upgraded to qualified coaches? They have lost a ton of very good players but yet they hang on to coaches that have no experience or who have a lengthy failed track record.

This forum never ceases to amaze with troll posts. Real coaches will be an instant upgrade if you compare with other GA clubs in NJ.

I would like to move my twins to real. I have tried to find some information about their coaches. Past experience and licenses. They don’t have anything about them on their website. Is there somewhere else I can look? I love the quality over quantity motto.

There is not information on the coaches because most have not prior coaching experience. They were trying to use Real as a launching pad but it didn't work. Find out who is coaching before you join. If it is the coach of thee 05 and 07 team you should definitely not join. He has been fired from all previous positions- even as the assistant to the assistant at Penn.

Hi coach, GA is some next level elite league it’s just a different league. Clubs simply have to fulfil basic requirements to be accepted. GA doesn’t evaluate every coach on the club. The 05/07 coach has zero credentials. Failed resume. Please dispute this.

Why don’t they post the credentials on the team site? I get that the owner has a few kids who are good soccer players but is that enough? Like I’m not getting a root canal by someone just because his kid is a dentist.

Root canal!!! Excellent analogy to life as a soccer player with Real. Achingly painful, makes you feel full of dread and anxiety.

If the league requires no such information why do you care? If the teams keep winning and developing high level players that’s simply all that matters. Plenty of coaches with “credentials” can’t coach a lick.

The 05 teams was crushed at Jeff Cup and had a very poor performance at Nationals (the second time many of the girls had been there- performed much better the first time). Why do people insist on settling on bad coaches? People pay a lot of money for club. Why are you so quick to dismiss a coach’s non credentials?

And? The same girls made it to nationals a few years earlier. They are talented. That is why it is such a shame that the coach, with zero coaching experience, squandered the team’s potential.
