Why are Real coaches so terrible?

The 05 and 07 coach is deplorable. The fact that he is still hanging on by a thread to his team is proof that the club can't find another coach and they refuse to admit fault. Real would rather phase him out than just admit that they we desperate to get these teams started and took anyone that was available. I would have much more respect if they admitting their wrongdoings and cut ties all together. such a bad look for the club. Parents can't stand him and his teams mock him.

Sorry but a high level league like GAL would not allow someone to coach if they were not highly qualified. What you’re saying is inaccurate

Are there any current real parents on here who can speak up for the 05 /07 coach? It seems like there must be some parent with direct experience who should be able to say something positive. Like your daughter is benefiting athletically and ( more importantly) personally by being mentored by this person? or you agree with his coaching techniques and the way he interacts with his athletes? Or , maybe you played against him and were impressed with his demeanor, coaching style and obvious comaradarie he had with his team?
I know if people were bashing a coach I valued, I would speak up.

I know him personally, and he is a top coach. He is very knowledgeable and he cares for his players.

Haha. Coach, I am glad you like yourself so much. Unfortunately no one else feels the same. Horrible on and off the field. And once again, GA does not interview every coach in the club.

I understand that they needed to take whoever was available when the club was started but why haven't they upgraded to qualified coaches? They have lost a ton of very good players but yet they hang on to coaches that have no experience or who have a lengthy failed track record.

Worst coach in any sport at any level… and that is saying something. His demeanor is atrocious. His coaching style is frustration and anger. His team bonding is non existent.

Great points. Don't forget the complete lack of respect by his players and parents. You can't be non effective and belittling and expect the teams to respect you.
