Foremost it is for education like every parent would say. But don’t try to say to anyone that their team isn’t full of club players unlike public programs. Like other private and prep schools we know if they want your kid on their team they give you scholarships. How else do they build these winning teams they make their school look good ? To tell people otherwise is laughable and insulting. It’s not cheap, but people aren’t paying full price tags and for ones that do they clearly can afford it so good for them. Nothing wrong with that.

If you look up the schools stats. 40% of the school recieves an average of 20k to attend. It all done on a need basis, based of a financial check. So on average the people are paying at least 30k/ year to send their kids to RP. No it’s not cheap, not everyone can afford that. The school also can’t afford to give full rides to athletes bc there is nothing in return. The only benefit for the school is a few articles about a good soccer program. Could the best soccer player in the team be getting more aid? I would imagine there could be room for some extra help. But the majority are paying way more than most would like to believe.

Why does anyone even care what type of tuition any of the families are paying. It’s honestly no one business. None are going for free and all are paying something. I’m suree Most are there bc RP is a better academic option than their home school. End of story.

Every parent I have spoken to on the girls soccer team has stated that they get significant tuition discounts for playing on the team.

Ever consider a different angle? Parents who can afford upwards of 10K a year on a hobby like club soccer might, well, also be able to afford private school tuition? The kids are there for the academic program not for soccer glory.

As they should. Tough you mean by number of games but not actual competition, correct? RP is the number one team in NJ and nationally top ranked so they are expected to win. If anyone is treating like them like an underdog or that this tournament schedule was tough then it’s almost laughable. Prep tournament may be harder but if your come in on top then you’re expected to win and they have the ability to do it and the Coach to lead them. Suggesting otherwise is insulting the team. At the same time the other team should be proud because they weren’t blown out.

They are the tops seed and they should have won just like they did. This sets up a lose-lose situation for RP. If they win, well, I told you so, They are a stacked nationally ranked team and are supposed to win. They are just beating up on the little guys. If they lose, well, I told you so. They are an overrated team that can’t even win when they supposed to.

You are preparing excuses to justify your inferiority. Please seek professional help and stop trying to diminish high schooler accomplishments to make yourself feel better.

According to TS PDA Blue players are all overrated and as we all know from TS, non ecnl players are actually as good as ecnl players in HS. So why does it matter how many PDA players RPS has. And yeah I am sure school has more to do with it than soccer. Nothing comes from HS soccer. NOTHING
