Wow #6 - that is pretty impressive. Any idea how the rankings are assembled? I am only wondering because I would think that if she was truly the #6 2025 recruit in the country she would not have committed to a school that is not even in the top 90 nationally.

No you don’t pay to be on that list. She is listed on it for the state of NJ but not ranked in the country. It’s run by IMG not affiliated with ECNL. If they are heavy in ECNL players it is for good reason. I am telling you that those two girls up top for PP are good but not elite. Elite is a different level of good. Elite girls end up on top of that IMG list regardless of league.

Probably for the same reason the “Elite All American” chose to go to a school ranked #200 in nation. Bc they liked a very good school, probably both of the young ladies were offered near full rides, and will play lots of minutes. It’s not always about going to FSU and Stanford and waiting your turn to play.

You def don’t have to pay to be on top drawer. U have to play for a competitive club that has access to high level college showcases and top drawer scouts. ECNL and GA teams have the biggest and best college coaches turnout by far. And I’d also say ECNL is bigger than GA showcases. Any EDP team is not getting the exposure to college and US scouts like ECNL teams in NJ or around the county. It’s fact.

Well Virginia is ranked top 25 in the country and only has 18% acceptance rate. It has one of the biggest endowments in the country. Its considered a public ivy. Yes it’s elite

So why did no interest from Duke in this studly player? I would also think if that highly ranked would be going to a much better soccer team than UVA is putting forth these days.

And if talking rankings wasn't RP ranked higher than PP nationally yet was handled with ease by the best player on the field with a goal and assist.

Do you even know this kid and why she made her decision ? This is really disgusting that TS is trashing a 16yo on her college decision that you know nothing about. Players pick schools for many reasons that many people know nothing about. She probably had numerous offers and you somehow think bc she picked uva she’s not good. She probably rejected more schools than calls your daughter got. Including Duke.
