PDA South out of ECNL

The teams they have left never dominated in EDP or RL. The teams that they used to get into ECNL have long been gone. The very best team they had left when they got to ECNL graduated that year and they still couldn't get a winning season.



Playoffs....LOLOLOLOLOL.... Non of those teams could get to the national showcase and you want to talk about playoffs.

If you can call those players picked up elite. I know a few teams lost better players then they brought on. Plus they still have the small group of coaches doing the same things. You can blame COVID all you want but COVID did change anything over the last year and a half. They haven't had restrictions on training, tournaments or scrimmages but yet South STILL doesn't expand what they offer. Have fun scrimmaging the ECNL below and the RL team above you and if you are lucky some town team from nearby. Have fun with your 30 minutes of chat, skills and rondo and 1hr of playing short field with the team. Have fun being berated by the coach for picking up outside training or asking to guest play somewhere else. South is a dumpster fire no one seems to want to put out.

PDA is a garbage club all around. The Biggest club in the area with more teams than anyone can count — with the biggest issue. all the coaches are white men coaching little girls, pre teen and teenage girls. not a SINGLE female coach anywhere to be found. Also only 1 African goalie coach who seems lovely. Seems like Us soccer should take a deeper look there.

I think they were talking about PDA as a whole not just South. Kelvin Murray is an asset for South that they unfortunately don't respect. The 09s parents treated him like he was trash and got him removed as coach 2 years ago.

It’s always amazing to me how organizations make excuses for not having a qualified tapestry of many different races and female representation. Nothing happens by accident. It’s either done consciously or unconsciously. It does not matter how because the result is the same. Remember ones choices are always a representation of what we value. Those choices may not always be made consciously. Nothing happens by accident.

Unbelievably woke.

The number of kids on scholarship. The number of fields being built in the inner city. if you knew the founder at all.

Don’t blame the club… they are making an effort. Blame US Soccer and the pay to play system it created. That is why you see nothing but luxury cars in the parking lot of every club and every tournament.

There’s enough money in the men’s game now to where the boys academy is free. let’s hope the girls game follow suit.
