I know a bunch of people that got them already. Kind of stinks if you are depending on one and dont get it. Might be hard to find some where to play in the fall, but that is "part of the game".

Like a poster said above, if your kid wasn't playing much in the regular season you should have already been worried and talking to the coach. Most will tell you if you are borderline or not.

More importantly if your kid wasn't playing much it's obviously not a good fit and you should have been looking much earlier when others were doing their practice invites etc. Go where your kid will play. Being on a "top" team isn't always a good fit.

Define not playing? should you be getting at least half a game , 1/3 of a game . 15 minutes a game? or left off a roster for games?

If your daughter is only playing 15 mins I personally would consider looking for a different team. That means the coach doesn't think she can contribute, doesn't mean she's not good, just that that coach sees her that way. A good coach may try her in a different position and find her fit. A lot of forwards end up playing defense and turn into really good defenders.

to the people sayingits worth it, how do you know without knowing the actual cost? i bet its crazy expensive between flights, car rental and hotels

If you're U15-U17 you'd be a fool not to go - unless your heart just isn't in it and can't do it. It's quite literally one of the best opportunities in the nation to get in front of coaches. If you can play through the hurt (and I get it, being cut hurts) then it may be worth it.

If you are not playing much then going is not going to get you recognized anywhere. You have to be on the field- period

I know 4 PDA G2011 White that were already told they were not invited back (and some replacements have accepted). I THINK they are playing pre-ECNL next season which I THINK is 11v11. So I am guessing they have added 6+ girls if they cut 4. Other clubs require answers already, I doubt anyone will pay one club, and then leave to pay PDA also to play there

Approx $12k to date at PDA since fall plus another $2k on privates, trainers etc.

My daughter and I are going to nationals. Flight $400 ea, hotel less than $1000 and rental car $450. Plus food and gas we will be close to $3k for the trip.

If you waited until June to book tickets I hear they are up to $1300 ea.

I know for a fact that PDA has made at least Verbal offers to those that are currently outside the club. Most likely waiting to get a feel of who will accept then make offers to current players and cut who they need.
