And here's a hint: if your kid rarely plays they are possibly on the chopping block. You should have had a discussion with the coach weeks, if not two months ago, about where your player fits and if a different team/cub might be a better place for them

I know a bunch of people that got them already. Kind of stinks if you are depending on one and dont get it. Might be hard to find some where to play in the fall, but that is "part of the game".

If player is not being invited back, the club is already telling you that they arent needed at nationals. Save the money at that point.

If your daughter has not been getting playing time regardless of weather you're coming back next year or not your decision to go or not is yours to make.
Define not playing? should you be getting at least half a game , 1/3 of a game . 15 minutes a game? or left off a roster for games?

Unofficially anyone who is on the team has been told. If you are still waiting then they may be going down the list for bench fillers or trying to keep people to stay after demotion to RL.

Lots of players get very minimal time in regular team games. Those are the players that should have been questioning their fit on a team and having a discussion with a coach awhile ago.

Yeah a conversation with the coach is all that is needed. However , one should not feel obligated to spend thousands of dollars to travel for Nationals under some sense of commitment. I can think of many scenarios to teach your daughter commitment that aren’t quite as expensive. Do what’s best for your families financial circumstances.
