We are moving to the state, and my daughter is an '09 and has an opportunity to play on either A team.... any experiences between the two?

Go to a practice. Talk to the parents and coach. Look at the travel requirements of GA vs. ECNL as well as the competition. If you care about rankings, SJEB has been in the top 3-5 in the state for awhile whereas South is probably top 10-15. I would guess South gets better over time as they consolidate local kids who want ECNL, but SJEB is probably viable long-term as well (even though they may compete with Real for the same kids). Good luck!

PDA South isn't very good. SJEB is a more competitive club in that area. However, sorry about fit and development. If a player is starting as a freshman and doing really well, perhaps, you make the move to the most competitive team with best recruiting showcases

PDA plays in ECNL which is head and shoulders above GA. In the long run PDA sends 10x as many girls to college as SJEB but SJEB is relatively new considering they are a merged team of the barons and rush (i think). We went with PDA and couldn’t be happier. The 09 PDA team also has great coaches, AS & DM are awesome And that team has a girl on it who is one of, if not the best, soccer players I’ve ever seen at that age.
Hope to see you out there !!

Pay no attention to SJEBs rankings. They constantly enter low level EDP tournaments to boost their rankings.
And GA is on its last leg. Just expanded again. This time adding Real which will pull half the talent from SJEB on name alone.

Have you considered putting the money that you would spend over the course of you kid's club soccer "career" into a college savings account and not subjecting him/her to the brutal and meaningless culture of club soccer? Just read through these threads and ask yourself, do I really want to spend endless hours hanging out with these people?

I guess in this guys case, nobody cares how many wins your team ever has.

Merger after merger chasing an identity and marketing they are the best and I just don’t see it with the players they send to colleges at any level. Seriously do your research. PDA South has more pro players and more players with success at the college level D1-D3( All conference, DOY, OPY, all region etc). That’s just the facts. If you want your daughter better prepared for college, go to PDA South.
