GA is trash in NJ but to be fair Real will help a lot. They will absolutely smoke clubs like SJEB and CSA and quickly establish themselves as the top GA club amongst NJ and EPA choices. Great move by them.

Yawn. PDA South has a combined 7 wins in ECNL so far across all age groups. They are in last or second to last in each group. Talk to me when they get a team above .500. At this juncture they are just a guaranteed win for all the other ECNL clubs.

Here we go again- desperation to promote Real. Their coaching staff is pathetic. If your goal is college exposure - PDA all the way. If you are looking to just pay money so you can say your kid is on a club team then I guess Real is a fine option.

Sure the 09 had circumstances that required coaching changes but the club is structured and the group is in good hands and will continue to be. Puberty changes these 2010/2009s so time will tell. That’s why I always go with history/facts and PDA South players have proven success. The club has a philosophy and culture. What you fail to understand is that PDA South doesn’t have to actively recruit. Stupid! We went to them ! We wanted MORE and my D wasn’t happy or developing. We were tired of training at 5 locations. We didn’t want our team practices to be flooded with outside girls always get a free session on my thousands of dollars. We wanted to come to a club that would always give me a honest evaluations of my kid during year. My D enjoys soccer again!

Plenty of accolades or else the club wouldn’t be in ECNL:
US National team call ups
Few NPL National Championships
Several Pro players
Several College All Conference, All Region and All Americans .
A Few College POY and DPOY
Alumni playing substantial minutes at the college level
* All levels D1-D3

Plenty of connections you mean otherwise no way they are in ECNL. Why can't PDA South win if they are so solid? Other clubs can make the same bold statements you have but they have not shot at all ever getting in. No way PDA north would allow it.

Sad actually to be that afraid of competition.

Real will take over GA. Not sure how that that will impact ECNL but it will surely impact GA clubs as they will never see Champions League again once Real gets in next year.

Like was posted, they are ALL PDA North ECNL players not developed by South from back in the NPL days which was what...4-5 years ago back when South could draw players with the allure of playing for North. Since they have become ECRL and moved into ECNL they have produced NOTHING. Every single one of those accolades came from a team that wasn't even their when they did get ECNL the club didn't earn it that team did. Don't get me wrong, AJAX was one hell of a team but 1 team does not make a club. Looking at the ECNL team page the coach was removed, they getting yet another one? Another thing to consider is do you want to play at the GA Nationals as the 09s should be for years to come or maybe make the lowest level ECNL showcase at the ECNL Nationals?


Best advice for OP is to go to multiple training session, not the ID clinics or tryouts, so you can get a feel of the coach, parents and atmosphere and your kid can get a look at the coach and players. Talk to a few parents about how things are and if expectations at the club were meet.

On the way down? Aren't the 08s and 09s in 1st place and going to Nationals this year, the 08s for the second year in a row? That doesn't look like it is going down but rather coming up. I guess South wouldn't know what down looks like since the only thing farther then where they are at is out of ECNL.

It's okay that there are 3 good club in the area, but pretending PDA South is some juggernaut is ridiculous. To the original point, the 09s are bad, one of the worst teams in their league.

Real will be to GA what PDA Blue is to ECNL. Total domination and instant credibility for the league. CSA, SJEB, Ukies, etc will be swept by Real across multiple age groups year after year. If you want a top club in what is the top league in the country for girls consider Real.

pda south 09 play against the best level 09 teams as
a member of the ECNL. Regardless of record they play the best 09 teams regularly and they are closing the gap on more clubs in all age groups. With that said, the style of play that PDA south teams try to play translates to better long term development and prepares kids for college success. This above parent is results driven and just has zero clue and is on the outside looking in. This person he/she still can’t name one single pro player that sjeb club has ever developed for as long as they have been in SJ. Merger after merger after merger still average club. You would think with ALL marketing they do they would have a player to make it to the pro/international level. Pda has 3 in last 3 years and SJEB zero. At the younger ages ,I’ll take losing 2-1 to a mediocre team while dominating possession and creating more changes and being unlucky, build out of the back and attempting to place soccer vs. Real 09 who just bang and run, connect zero passes, alway punt, never build, teenage coach and have zero style or culture. It’s just win at all cost and bash PDA South lol bc Rusty says so.

I used to think the same way, so what if they train 2x a week (1+ less then just about every other club in the division) and lose every game as long as it is to the best teams around. Well, the lack of real training, we had girls that didn't know what position they played or how to play it and a coach that didn't understand the game from a coaching perspective. His best idea was to stuff the box with as many bodies as possible so the other team couldn't score as much so they would only lose 1 or 2-0 instead of 3 or 4-0. Winning isn't important, especially pre-HS, but training is and unfortunately the coach doesn't know how to run a training session or manage a game. Maybe at 10-11th grade PDA South might be a viable option for those getting looks from colleges already to show they can play against ECNL competition but do not waste your time and money before then on a club like this.
