USYS Elite 64 Questions

With the advent of E64, trying to get more information on the STA, PDA, CSA teams that will participate on the boys side.

- STA has ECNL. So I’m guessing the E64 team will be the second team? Maybe a different location? Do they have ECRL?

- PDA has MLS Next and ECNL. Would the E64 teams play out of Hibernian?

- CSA has MLS Next. Would the E64 team be their second team? Different location?

STA has ECNL & ECRL. Currently their "C" team plays under the traditional USYS format. I would assume the C team is the USYS Elite 64 team.

Elite 64 is not happening, they've stopped announcing teams. Likely dead, similar to USYS Club vs Club from 3-4 years ago.

If they create a league and no one comes....

I’m a little confused how this elite 64 works. Is it in addition to the normal division like the P.R.O. League? Or is it replacing your normal division like edp club v club?

Replacing your normal league. similiar to EDP club vs Club... just more travel for same level of Comp.

I think PRO league will still be around. Not sure if EDP club v club goes away. My guess is that it still stays as that is managed by EDP.

PRO is actually the best idea YSYS has had, only top teams get invited to a national showcase, teams know 6 months in advance if they got in. ECNL and MLS NEXT/GA have a monopoly on top clubs, Elite 64 won't be able to find enough top clubs strong enough to compete top to bottom.

CSA and PDA left ECNL to join Elite 64. STA plays Elite 64 with their Mount Olive location. This league should the next step for when MLS will explode with top pro teams that will make their own league.
