CSA was never in ECNL. PDA is still in ECNL. The PDA "C" team is the team in Elite 64. it is not a promising start to this league. STA has their "A" team in ECNL, their "B" team is ECRL.

Elite64 will struggle for relevance as top teams are ECNL/ECRL, and the next tier is definitely Girls Academy. Most of the bigger name clubs in Elite64 its their 3rd or 4th teams, or their other locations, like MFA Mercer, STA Mount Olive, PDA Hibernian, etc

That’s for the girls side. ECNL on the boys side is daft below MLS Next in this area. The elite 64 clubs will likely be a step down from EDP

The sad thing is CSA should be in ECNL. Why not get the best clubs together in one league???? US soccer should get its act together quickly

ECRL by design is a B team league. Sure it will be better than Elite 64 but it isn't a better spot than GA. No college is looking at an RL player thinking "I need to get her on my team" when they can't even crack the A team at their own club. Elite 64 is a poor attempt at expanding the junk filled club v club bracket that EDP had.

These leagues should be more inclusive and let deserving clubs in. The system is broken.

stop calling it Elite 64...they couldn't even sucker enough clubs to live up to its name. Elite 55 all the way!?!?!

                      I'm talking Elite 64 Boys.
PDA and CSA Bergen will be their B teams into the new Elite 64. Check the ECNL schedule..

Boston Bolts..CSA..there are more and more MLS clubs that will join it. I have to believe that MLS will not last too long (I mean for no PRO clubs).

MLS ain’t going away. Likely to just keep getting stronger.

The MLS Academies will remove their teams the second all the MLS clubs have their Academy at the MLS standard. Just like they did by pulling their "reserve/MLSNextPro" teams out of USL. Right now MLSNext works for the MLS Academies because there is high variability between the clubs. Also, if you haven't noticed, the MLS recently changed their catchment area rules for the Academies. This will allow more out of area player movement as the clubs will have to either roster a player or name the player (only a limited number). This will make the MLS academies even stronger. At that point they won't want to play amateur clubs.

Once the MLS Academies remove their teams MLSNext will shut down.
