Over 40 GA clubs on this list. That is more than half of all GA teams in the league and a higher percentage than ECNL teams. It’s why more coaches go to GA showcases. It’s why there are more kids playing college soccer from a percentage standpoint out of GA clubs.

The reality is ECRL presents more opportunities than GA, otherwise why would GA clubs continue jumping ship to ECRL which is clearly secondary to ECNL? As they say actions speak louder than words.

What clubs have moved to ECRL? Nothing in the North East or New England divisions, ECRL is strong in VA but they really don't have a GA division.

Well, considering GA has only been around for a year and a half then ECNL should have a majority locked up. The question is if they have 62% who has the other 48%? Plus, how many clubs does that 62% really pull from and which ones? It certainly isn't 62% of the ECNL players in the 2 divisions around here.

That article is two years old from when the DA existed so the % is even higher now for ECNL.

So, ECNL is the top league but GA still has some top clubs. We knew this, but the articles are great so thanks.

Correct is actually around 80% ECNL players in power 5 now.

The number of ECNL players in P5 conferences has likely increased since 2019 since several of the top talent producing clubs have joined ECNL in 2020 and 2021.
