Truth is, if MF Shore 09's went, they would destroy every team. It's time the rest of the world knew what we in the US know, MF Shore is the best girls 09 team in the country, and as crazy as it sounds, probably the best in the 08 age group as well. Every one of you that have nothing better to do then come on here and bash us, it's because your jealous your little piece of **** couldn't ever compete with our level of talent. Stay at NJ Blaze, thats where alot of the loser kids play.

Not true. ECNL Finals are during that same time period. Matchfit will never beat Solar 09s anyway.

Here is my take. If MFA did actually skip ECNL playoffs this year, this would be the year to do it BUT the Gothia Cup is a crap tournament for girls and totally not worth it. ECNL Playoffs and Finals would provide much better competition. I do think MFA would make it to Nationals...

Here is where it gets tricky though. If in fact MFA is looking at a European tour, the DONOSTI CUP is the top Girls tournament in Europe which takes place the week before Gothia Cup. This is why the girls side tends to be weaker at Gothia. DONOSTI brings the FCB Femina Club and Lyon Lyonesses among many others. This tournament also takes place in San Sebastian, Spain, which is absolutely stunning and beautiful.

So yeah, if somehow MFA was planning a 21 Day European Youth Soccer Vacation and everyone can afford it, totally worth it especially at the U13 age of ECNL that nobody cares about!!!!!

BUT, if they plan on just going to Gothia Cup, complete waste of money. Best bang for the buck would be go to Spain after ECNL playoffs, go to DONOSTI and be back in time for ECNL Finals.

New poster- Gothia isn’t a top tournament at all in Europe for girls. So it’s really a waste of time. It’s like a Spanish team traveling to the US to play a random tournament. It will not give anyone and indication of the talent in Europe. The cup prior to Gothia is the one to attend.

MF would get their asses creamed by the European teams. Why you would think they would be the top team is absurd. You must be the guy Jason from the team that thinks his kids the next Alyssa Naeher. News flash for you asswipe, the new golie is a million times better than your kid, and from what I heard, your kids days are numbered if Tetro brings on the new goalie he's been talking to.

MFA takes groups to Europe every year. In Sweden they always win most of their games and in England the games in London are very competitive and when they go north they win easily. It’s a wonderful experience for the kids. Happy Holidays.
