Heard MF Shore is considering taking the 2009 girls team to the Gothia Cup in Sweden in 2022 to participate in the world's top international youth soccer competition. After speaking with one of the parents from the team, who I will not name, RT feels that there hasn't been any competitive teams left in the US for his kids to play, especially since they are beating every team from NJ to California. RT needs some new bling to place next to his 29 Jeff Cup trophies. My friend told me RT has not discussed this with the parents from his team just yet, and only a hand few of them know of his intentions. I'm willing to bet not one parent stands up to him when he brings this trip up, for fear their kid would be replaced. RT taking his team to Swedan to play is almost as stupid as NH taking his two ****ty teams to California to get their asses destroyed two weeks before Christmas. Looks like alot of parents have **** you money to keep wasting on these stupid trips. Sad thing is, even the parents on the MF Shore 09 team thay really can't afford to go play in the Gothia Cup will beg, borrow and steal to get the money to go.

This wouldn't surprise me one bit. RT has yet to win a national championship, why not try for a international championship? And you are correct, some of these parents won't be able to afford a trip like this, but will take out a second mortgage just to please Tetro.

Who is scheduling a flight into Europe without knowing what the Covid restrictions are going to be like?

NCE has been attending this cup for a while at even the younger ages. They hardly attract the top talent so it’s really not a great event on the girls side. Likely MF will be the top team there. And they are not the first. NCE charges something like $10k to attend at age 11 (without a parent).

It’s not true at all. RT takes the month of July off every year to visit family in FL. It’s the only down time he gets. Not going to Sweden. Jordan Raper is taking a group of MF kids combined with a group of CFC kids.

News flash for you asswipe, the new golie is a million times better than your kid, and from what I heard, your kids days are numbered if Tetro brings on the new goalie he's been talking to.

Read any fine print about cancelation policies and decide what chances you're willing to take. We can't live life fearful of every "what if"
Whether or not it's worthwhile is another question. Some families will be interested and can afford it, others not

I have a hard time with the travel in the regular league as it is for girls so young, I don’t necessarily understand the value to the player. I understand the value to the club, but traveling 3-4 hours to play one game I haven’t yet found value in. Being approached to travel to Sweden with my 11-12 year old I would laugh directly in the face of the coach. I guess I can see families centering their vacations around their child’s soccer but again, I don’t see the value at that age.
