Thanks but would rather have my kid have fun in laid back relaxed fun GA environment focused on development rather than super competitive like you say about ECNL. To each their own.

Please tell me where the ‘laid back relaxed fun’ GA environment is… this does not describe my daughters team at all. Constant recruiting players, ID sessions, etc. what GA club? I’ll have my kid tryout.

Lots of ECNLtards in NJ. You need to get out of the state and realize there is a ton of top level talent playing in GA clubs throughout the country. Here’s another little secret there is a good amount of NJ kids playing on GA teams that left those ECNL clubs you speak so highly of.

I know it’s hard to believe but not everyone wants Nikes.

Well, where does PDA get it's talent from since they don't develop it? So, the answer would be almost if not all ages.

It's not coming from the GA.

Players that came from STA, CSA and SJEB but I guess if they didn't play at the now GA ages it doesn't count.

You can definitely ask them or just ask the kids on the team. WCFC, NJ premier, Red Bulls, Dynamite, Torpedos, Wall and ODP.

Probably the majority. If not PDA blue then the rest are no better than many other teams in NJ. Would be great to have a tournament but the ECNL clubs wouldn't really want to see the results.

PDA Blue is nothing more then a collection of other clubs work, the rest of ECNL in NJ is average at best. Top GA teams/clubs in Mid-Atlantic and North East would not have any issues competing in ECNL North East and New England divisions with some even having teams that could press for top 2 in ECNL. Currently both ECNL divisions are full of average clubs.

The list posted above seems to indicate otherwise and one could argue that the few GA teams listed have inflated rankings due to piling up results within the weaker GA divisions.

One could also see that the number of games played by PDA is less than 1/2 of that of any other club and they do not report their own tournament results. So there’s that. Less games reported and only wins = top ranking.

Agree with this. If there was only one league to play then the sport would never grow. US soccer is still not recognized as it should be our country. It would be way worse if we didn’t have tons of clubs.

GA teams uniformly lose to ECNL teams whenever they play head to head, which is really all that you need to know.
