Just another example of an "academy" team struggling against another clubs B team. You do realize CSA wasn't even playing the top 2008 team (ECNL) in the club but was playing the second team (ECRL). An academy team should be mopping up on RL teams but.........

That’s not true. He has 4 girls leave for another game that was scheduled for that evening up north and was down to 11 players. He asked a 2009 to play up otherwise it was likely he would have needed to forfeit as one of the players was dealing with an injury. It’s bull**** that it’s become a question around cheating instead of what it really was. The player he brought up wasn’t even their best or top 3 2009 players.

We played the 2008 CSA team earlier in the day on Sunday. They were late taking the field as they were waiting for 2009 players to show up after their earlier game that morning and then they had to tape up their jerseys to change their numbers. They called for them 5x and they finally blew the whistle while they were running onto the field. They had plenty of players so the comments about being depleted is a complete deflection. Plus, every team was short on subs. Most only had 3.

All of their results should be overturned for the tournament to be honest. Say whatever you want, they don't DQ teams in tournaments for making honest mistakes.

CSA have done this for years, they once forged cards and dropped U10 players into a U9 team at a local travel tournament (Ocean). The director knew but they had entered so many teams into the tournament that they just turned a blind eye to it.
