Any home teams not in showcase are going to need to play away games that weekend. Even if you don't have scheduling problems for field time, parking will absolutely suck and you don't need u11 parent cars adding to it.

Let’s remember that most of the PDA players travel to the fields as well and was just as affected. Nothing was intentional.

For what it is worth, have had multiple games shortened due to lack of light in the last two weeks. One on a field where they couldn't get the lights to work...another because they had no lights and home coach didn't think it through. This stuff happens. On the field with no lights, it was a two hour drive one way, to the crappiest turf field, or concrete I have ever seen and only one ref on full field. The sides of the field were about 8 inches below the middle so no idea how the ref could see anything lmao. This stuff happens and while it sucks in the grand scheme it isn't really a big deal. Now if the game was cancelled and other parents notified at 6 I can understand frustration....but sometimes emails get missed...
