I’m sorry that really sucks. But honestly every one has known this a long time and yet you all still feed the plant and thus it grows. No proper coach would ever take tons of money from his own team for side training. Your kid deserves better - I’m sure she’s a great player. Don’t let him tell her otherwise. He’s been very wrong over the years. Gets excited by the new candy and then bored. Don’t worry in a few months a new crop will come in and the attention will shift again. Unless…. You stop it. Don’t feed the plant, expose it— it will not grow and eventually die.
