Eleven national championships, last in 2016, and they still get top recruits. How many trophies does RU have?

Ever since GA ran Delladonne out of town, the top recruits are going elsewhere.

That is the most stupid comment of the day. You have no clue why she left UConn.

RU got dominated by Wisky just now. Amazing they made it to shootout where they went down

No offense. No connections up top. They play in between. No press uptop ever and go back waytoo much. Too predictable.

another not good season for RU out in 1st round of Big10 and that's it again, looks like they need more "player development" at the youth academy to prepare players for the next level, doesn't seem to be working much recently...

RU needs to recruit better. Of the entire roster (30) all from NJ except for 7. 6 of the 7 from NY or PA and 1 from FL. Next closet Big 10 school PSU has 23 not from PA. Cali, Mass, Germany, Ireland, Spain, VA, Minn, etc. 6 from PA.

FACTS. I guess PDA and RU don't practice PKs either.

Has anyone considered that very few girls from other states are set up for success. Looks like over the past decade they either sit or transfer out. The few that stay are never highly profiled. It’s seems RU has exactly what they want NJ based win or lose.

Not sure what you mean by "girls from other states not setup for success"? The poster above just pointed out how PSU only has 6 from PA and PSU is an exceptional team with 9 Big10 Championships. Next closest team has 3. PSU also has by far the best win % historically overall. They have always recruited the players they needed all over the US and Internationally.

Sorry I was not clear, the out of state girls that Rutgers has recruited over the past

So you're suggesting that RU sets up out of state girls to fail on purpose? Why would they recruit any if they wouldn't want to see them succeed. Sorry just don't see how this makes any sense at all

It does not have to make sense, facts are facts if you look at the stats of out of state players at Rutgers, most do not last long. Most girls in the tri state area are steered away by their club coaches. They are told unless you have a PDA connection or are a NJ resident you may not see much playing time or receive financial assistance. Somethings are just what they are lesser opportunities. That is not Rutgers setting them up to purposely fail, just not providing as much opportunity. Of course you will give opportunity to products you have seen for years in your own state. “Go with what you know” it’s how the system works. Out of state players are less inclined to commit if they see most non Jersey players as “support” or back up players. And there will always be exceptions to the trend, but a handful compared to other institutions

I am from PA, why would I send my kid to Piscataway to play at RU, when I have, 5-6 schools in my area that are better options than team run by a gang from PDA.
