Okay troll. Why be a hater? Why not just support them? It looked bleak earlier on. Good for them to keep fighting.

You’d think with 20+ PDA Blue players they would never lose.

PDA blue players are not all good. Many don't play or don't play a lot outside of RU. Focusing on wins only is the problem and wins against your own age group in club is much easier than wins against teams of skilled players.

That is why I am rooting for them. They stayed home to help their state team.

Still looks bleak. Barely over .500 and most likely 1 and done big 10 tourney. And if by chance they are named in the field of 64 that would just be adding to the overall athletic program deficit.

They stayed home because no one else wanted them.

What an accomplishment for them, then.

Come on Troll. Why can't you just wish them well?
I would love to see Carli L coach or asst coach. Watch the recruiting doors get kicked open by candidates.

happy to root for them, just wish their youth club did a better job of preparing them for success at the next level, something is missing there with the athletes they get...
guess the youth "wins" don't count later...

Youth clubs do not prepare players to succeed at the next level. That’s on the player to prepare themselves to whatever level they are capable of playing. Clubs do not teach players the mental and physical aspects to succeed at the next level. Clubs put players in the position to succeed and the rest is up to the player. Saying its the clubs responsibility is just another parent excuse.

                        Exactly. Perfectly put.

Agree, job of a club is to get kids recruited to play in college. If that occurs, club did it's job.

I disagree. Pda blue prepared my daughter to play at next level. You just have to make sure you dont overestimate their talent and pick a program that is not over their head. My daughter is a solid D1 player at the Ivy level and was well prepared coming in as a freshman.

Totally disagree, with the talent that comes thru, team training should be better at youth level all around to better prep players for the next level.
There are not enough doing well at the college level as mentioned in other posts.
Of course then, there cannot be the overfocus on "winning" when they are young like in europe, and actual focus on fundamentals, overall game knowledge, work on possession early, rotation of positions, etc...
