seems like 3 of the 11 freshman on the team got some playing time in the first game. Since a school is limited to 14 scholarships a year (for the entire team), I wonder how many are paying to be on the team (since 10 starters are back)

Just another jealous TS troll.

That in itself is better than 99% of the teams in the country. That’s special and you will never understand because of your jealousy and hatred. They will compete in one of the most competitive conferences in the country against some of the top competition in the country to win the conference, conference and NCAA tournament. That is better than 99% of the D1 teams getting ready to start the season who will not have a chance to win a conference or make the NCAA. What you think RU needs to do to succeed is rudimentary because you just don’t understand womens college soccer.

You need to be realistic about Rutgers sports because they don't typically get National Championship level athletes to come here from out of state. The womens soccer program has PDA so we get some of the best girls from NJ but thats not enough to be national champs. We were close 2 years ago but I don't think we have the same talent to bring us there anytime soon. It is exciting to watch them though unlike football. SMH, I don't think we will ever have a Championship team and now with Big 10 expanding the future looks pretty bad. I will still root for them though

If RU wins Big10, national talent will come. We are close to beaches and ocean. Close to cities (NY and Philly) if you want to go to museums, great eateries, shops, historical landmarks, and such. Close to pro teams (NJ, NY and Phil) to catch games.
RU needs better marketing.
