there are a few players on the A teams that do drive 45-60 mins to byfield - also, a number of other families that drive to lancaster for Stars and ODP that drive over an hour and a half....point is that it comes down to committment of the player/parent - the practices will end up being where the majority are geographically

that was my point, as well. Thanks to you for clarifying. there are families who will be OK with commuting that long. And some simply won't have the time due to work and other commitments, other kid activities, that kind of thing. Our family would be able to do it but that doesn't mean that a lot of others will. IT will all work out in the end regardless.
Do the Stars North teams go to Lancaster for practices or just games?

yes - FC Stars North practices local outside and at Danvers indoor in winter. But U13 NPL and ECNL teams all practice and play in lancaster

news from a parent at north shore united is seacoast made them an offer which club president SF turned down....turns out, he turned down a couple of others - they just lost their u12A girls team to aztec - a competitor - looks like norths hore is looking to sell out according to this parent - another dead - Seacoast could have used a talent infusion even if it just a few players here and there....
