The best is when Seacoast comes into your area to "help" develop your players and to "help" with your tryouts, etc and ends up recruiting your players away. Ha ha. Thanks for all the "help" guys!

GPS is doing the same thing. Seacoast and GPS won't be happy until they take out all the town and small clubs.

Yes this recruiting happened to our World Cup team. We beat Seacoast enough times that the only way they could compete against us was to recruit our players away. Nothing new, and nothing will be done by the State. The Bolts did it on the boys dude to World Cup teams to, but they took any players, not just the good ones. They destroyed The u16 wc team.

A WC parent told me the Bolts let them play for free in order to get them to leave WC and play for the Bolts. I wonder if the Bolts parents on that team knew that.

I heard from a friends uncle that his coworkers cousin liked apples.

The sad thing I came to this forum to just find get advice on coaches at one point but instead found angry parents.

Only useful info I found so far was the prices listed for teams and where some teams play. Rest of it is pure crap.

Is there any other decent forums for nh soccer or is this it?

You forgot to mention how constructive it is to read how Team X beat Team Y and NOW they are the best!

Not that uncommon either. Teams will offer scholarships to help encourage players (parents) to come play. They are sworn to secrecy but people can't help themselves and talk. It's a dirty business!

This ties in with the Seacoast recruiting bit. Folks are given a deal, they in turn must recruit new talent. Your player might not be that good it may just be that parents need to "wear their salesman hat" to bring in their commission, and they know you are good for it.

The above "statement" is the biggest load of crap. You are either extremely gullible to believe such things or just clueless. No-one at Seacoast plays for free. They do have scholarship opportunities and payment plans for families but no-one plays for free.....no matter how good you are or even if you help them recruit.

I think the poster said "a deal" and for a fact I know some people are paying thousands of dollars more than others, once you get to the older ages, DAP etc.

                              Recruiting

So it all depends on when and who as to whether or not it's outside the rules. This is the NEP version.
