Not sure what happened on that 40 plus yard goal but she made up for it stopping a poor Pk attempt. They look like a shadow of what they were last year, which is to be expected from what they lost. I think they’ll have a very different looking game against Portsmouth.

can't wait for the Grabil IG post where team fought adversity all year and did what all the naysayers said couldn't be done. we started the season in June with my semi rule abiding club. they have to be favorites, predict 4-1 maybe more

Then story of the D1 game was how Hanover created many quality chances they didn’t possess the composure to finish. Bedford didn’t out play Hanover, they took advantage of Hanover’s mistakes for the win. That first goal where the Hanover goalie bungled the ball into his own net, no help from Bedford needed for what would be the game winning own goal. Diaz’s first goal was duffed and heading straight to the keeper until the defender tried to sweep it clear only to redirect it past his keeper. Hat tip to Bedford, they ran the gauntlet and won a hard fought game. Hanover…. Should look at the results of these past 2 finals where not a goal was scored, losing the last 3.Their best players were nonexistent and struggled under the pressure. Grabil looked confused tonight.
The Bow V Lebanon game was a fun one as well. The VT border towns had a tough night. Lebanon, kinda like Hanover looked the better team for large stretches of the game but Bow converted at a higher rate. Lebanon hit post and crossbar chasing the tiring goal. The best goal of the night by far was Bow’s Smith from range that tattooed the top right corner.
Good night of NH HS soccer.

Bedford’s first goal was a free kick that was headed down in the box by a Bedford player to #11 who tapped it by the keeper who never touched the ball…there was no bungle by the Hanover keeper. You can go watch it on WMUR’s website as it appears it will be the first time you actually see the goal.
