Beyond that, certain NH teams did fine. The Seacoast U-17 girls went to the finals and lost in OT. I watched the U-18 boys play the #4 team in the country with only two subs and they played a good match only down 1-0 at the half. The U-14G finished 1-2 and all three matches were very competitive against the regions #4, #15 and #69 teams. No poundings there. They all went there, did that and got the T-Shirt, and it was Priceless.

To those who seem to take glee in calling attention to the "pounding", I can only assume the same would have happened to your club of interest, as they were not good enough to get there this time around.
For the kids, winning State Cup was probably the biggest thrill of their young athletic lives, which wasn't diminished by the results at Regionals. If anything, it has them more dedicated to get there again and improve on this year's results.
Good luck in the upcoming 2012-2013 season to all NH teams!
