what about the u12 girls team that won state cup last year undefeated i might add they are a little town club team that has beaten all these teams

This is not the same team that won the state cup last year. Many players have left and new players came in. I heard there bringing in players from the Stars of Mass to play this year. Are they A true town team????

I am speaking up my daughter is on that derry team and they just had a friendly with another state cup team and beat them 4-2 so in regards to bringing in stars of mass players neither player was at this friendly so they are a good team with the remaining players that are there

you are nuts...how about the Classics players she just cut from ODP? You are way off base on her. She is probably one of the most fair evaluators in NH soccer.

Really why is that I have talked to other coaches and trainers and some of the girls she cut and some that she kept were twisted you do not have to say i am nuts you have your opinion and i have mine and why is it some of the top girl players did not make it and

I agree it is not the same team but let me tell you my daughter is on that team and they are a good team they try hard as for them bringing stars of mass players there is 2 and they were not at the game we had with another state cup team and we beat them 4-2 that was a friendly these 2 stars of mass players will be a welcome addition but to imply we need them to beat teams is wrong

Get your facts straight there are 2 derry eagles team one has been playing 11v11 in the maple league which is the one that one state cup last year and there is another eagles that just went 11v11 for the spring

Yeah, the classics aren't going to contend for state cup...sorry. However, I do think the team is good and will be competitive. I just thought the original comment was very misleading.

Get your facts straight and don't be misleading... they didn't play 11v11 state cup and didn't play World Cup A or Seacoast A or Granite A.

your right but this team has been playing 11v11 for almost 2 seasons now and in those 2 seasons they have been in the top 2 brackets of the maple league there are reasons they moved to maple to play

Here is the problem with the original Derry post....

1) They did win state cup but at 8v8 which did not include any of the strong teams.
2) They haven't beaten any of the true state cup contenders that she mentions (Granite, World Cup, and Seacoast).
3) The little town team is pulling a large club move by pulling up Stars of Ma players for pretty much just the state cup...very Granite COE like as they did a similar thing last year.

Unfortunately, all that taints the fact that the Derry team is actually very good and will be tough to beat in the State Cup but I don't think they will win it.
