"China’s economy expanded 4.9 per cent year on year in the third quarter as industrial growth powered the country’s recovery from the coronavirus pandemic. The expansion in gross domestic product missed expectations but was well ahead of a 3.2 per cent increase in the second quarter and represented a sharp turnround from a historic decline at the start of the year."
“When consumers’ confidence improves, consumption might take over investment to become the major contributor to domestic demand,”
Note: the US has little consumer confidence because we haven't squashed Covid.

And in case you haven't learned this yet, the stock market isn't the economy. The GDP is still negative, unemployment still very high and new jobless claims still remain about 850K a week. Businesses are closing every day, lines at food pantries getting longer. If the economy is getting better people's lives are getting better - but right now they're not. 85% of the stock market is owned by the top 10%. As the market continues to go back up, very few people benefit from it and those that do are already well off. The average Joe is hurting and will for a long time.

OMG
The ❄️’s over at the Trump campaign wrote a whiny, self-pitying letter to the presidential debate commission complaining about the announced topics.
What’s the matter... the topics are same for Biden, right ? Where is all that debate confidence Trump and the cons were spewing?
I wonder whether he wants this one canceled as well. Chicken 💩
