Bezos is also a legit self made billionaire. That drives Trump crazy because deep down he knows he's a fraud.

Blaming Trump for the tax laws? Does that mean Obama is twice as responsible? If a tax return is filed according to the tax laws, it makes no difference what is paid. Trump’s tax returns are being audited, and no evidence of violating any tax codes. If you care that much, stop shopping at or through the big corporations. Support small businesses.
Originally posted by Unregistered View PostTax experts have said it is very unusual for a wealthy person to pay zero taxes for more than a few years. Trump paid none for ten and paying $750 for another two is hardly a hardship so let's call it 12. I read another piece that said someone with Trump's general wealth, on average, would have paid $400M more in taxes over the same length of time.

Regardless of the many legal implications for Trump (and Ivanka, she's caught in this too) it also shows
- he's not that rich
- he's lost and still loses today far more $ than people were aware
- he owes hundreds of millions that come due soon
- if he loses with the IRS he will owe them $100M in the bill plus penalties
- he has a personal incentive to write tax policy that favors himself and his businesses
- he has a personal incentive to make sure his businesses get Covid relief money

Here are some of Judge Hand's select quotes on taxes:
"Anyone may so arrange his affairs that his taxes shall be as low as possible; he is not bound to choose that pattern which will best pay the Treasury; there is not even a patriotic duty to increase one's taxes."
Gregory v. Helvering, 69 F.2d 809, 810 (2d Cir. 1934)
"Over and over again courts have said that there is nothing sinister in so arranging one's affairs as to keep taxes as low as possible. Everybody does so, rich or poor; and all do right, for nobody owes any public duty to pay more than the law demands: taxes are enforced exactions, not voluntary contributions. To demand more in the name of morals is mere cant."
Commissioner v. Newman, 159 F.2d 848, 851 (2d Cir. 1947) - dissenting opinion

Bull crap. NY Times is trying to influence the election. No big surprise from the fake media pushing Democrat agenda. Time to strip freedom of the press away because it is propaganda only.
Look at Obama’s new fortune. 40 million in net worth. What’s the source of wealth? China? Nothing more despicable than Obama Biden selling out this country. Obama took his 400k salary, no doubt, and Biden took his too as well as Ukraine and China payouts.
Obama never called countries about ridiculous trade agreements selling out the country. Trump did and renegotiated everything to the benefit of the American people. Look what Trump has accomplished in 4 years, what he promised and more. Trump for President!

It's why many middle class blacks who see through BLM and Antifa are leaving the Democrat party and understand the progress Trump has made and continues to make for them... progress in 4 years that even a black Democrat President didn't make.
Want examples closer to home? Roxbury neighborhood of Boston. Lynn, Springfield, Brockton. MA is run by Democrats. The cities are run by Democrats. Where is the violence and poverty the worst? You get the picture...
