I really wish the leaders of the US at the time of the 2016 election took the threats from Russia seriously. They constantly ignored it, mocked it when it was brought up...and here we are.

The GOP KNOWS it's an issue but deny it. They have had three years to try and improve election security amd have done essentially nothing. Would they be so nonchalant if Russia was propping up Democrats? Oh hell no.

The U.S. Intelligence Community says Russia interfered, but Trump says he takes Putin at his word that they didn’t.

And MoscowMitch won’t even bring bills to address election interference up for a vote.

The only conclusion one can draw is that Cons are ok with Russian meddling.

They are because it benefits them. They'd be going ballistic if the tables were turned and Russia was helping the Dems.
