I actually want to know whether the powers of the FBI, NSA, CIA & DHS were abused for domestic political purposes in 2016. I always thought concerns about US security state agencies was a staple of left-wing thought. John Durham and the DOJ IG have both been regarded as trustworthy by liberals in the past. Ultimately Barr can't convict anyone so any prosecutions would need courts, juries etc.

Yup, it once was a concern of liberals but they no longer exist. It's incredible that others like the TMan and company don't seem to want to know the truth. They would rather see Trump be impeached and have our adversaries watch as we tear ourselves apart. Leftists have never been concerned with personal liberties or the misuse of government power. These government agencies are now run by Leftists. The left is destroying this country.

Anyone who thinks �their side� is pure and the other evil is not only wrong, but will tend to fall for anything supporting their preconceived prejudices. Trump is an idiot but I believe he and his associates were setup by 3 letter agencies.

Is that yours? Can you somehow defend his actions - defending Syrian oil fields and Saudi Arabia with even more troops than those who were protecting our allies? You can't. The GOP got us into the ME and yes Obama could have done things differently. But now Trump is f'ing it up even worse - all while giving Erdogan, Putin, Assad and MBS exactly what they want. Even our military leaders have come out and said it's a huge mistake.

Now that Trump has lost various legal battles Don McGahn will be testifying after all. Especially now that the House Judiciary Committee is perhaps willing for it to be closed door testimony, as DOJ lawyers have been insisting?

I can't think she did herself any favors calling Tulsi Gabbard and Jill Stein Russian assets.

She is forever making excuses why she lost. Just last month she claimed that "voter suppression" was what kept her from being president and Stacey Abrams from being Governor of Georgia. Funny part about that whole saga: she's upset that voting rolls were purged of those who died or moved but states did it to keep in compliance with the Motor Voter Act her husband signed into law while he was president!
