A lawyer under investigation for a leak is hardly the same level as Hoover going after political opponents. Not all in the FBI are angels but the vast, vast majority are simply all about the law and protecting this country. Bob Mueller certainly has that universal reputation. Congress is conducting its own investigations as well so it isn't just one entity looking into Trump's actions. Smoke=fire.

We weren't comparing Baker to Hoover, which of course you know. And now you are attempting to backtrack now that the irony of your post was exposed.

Or do you really support the idea that it's OK for people in the FBI to break the law as long as they feel it's "in America's best interest". You'll be OK when those embedded into the agency by Trump do it to some future Democrat president, right?

Speaker Nancy Pelosi on Wednesday asked President Donald Trump to reschedule his State of the Union address — or deliver it in writing — as long as the government remains shut down.
