Will Democrats taking over the House ask for an " investigation" into the shooting death of the 7 year old Houston girl killed driving with her family in their SUV ? Initial reports indicated a racial angle, but now it appears it was at least 2 Black men involved. 20 and 24 years of age.

When Democrats heard of the death of the illegal little girl from Guatemala , they asked for ran " investigation".

Say Nancy, is the killing of the 7 year old in Houston " immoral " ?

As the shutdown drags on that will put a drag on the economy too. Workers who aren't getting paid can't pay bills, rent, mortgages, loans, anything beyond staples. As they cut back on entertainment, buying a new car, eating out, that has a ripple effect on other businesses. It also impacts companies that do business with the US government.
Guess the Dems better start thinking about cutting a deal. eh?

From the New York Times Maggie Haberman: "Although surveys at first showed more Americans blaming him for the shutdown than Democrats, later polling showed the fault more evenly split."

Interesting how so many on the left made a big deal about Trump's cabinet getting a raise in 2019 and yet haven't made an issue of the fact that all of Congress will still get their paycheck except these who will forfeit their salaries during the shutdown.

Such a stupid post TMan considering more than 50% of Congress are millionaires.

The few that might actually need financial help can borrow from their millionaire colleagues. It won't be long before they join the millionaires club anyway.

Yep, heard you mention it a lot. I'm sure someone stated it, but don't recall.

But, nice deflection again. Your speciality.

Deaths in government care should be investigated, but it doesn't normally require Congressional level investigation. Whether you agree with what is going on, once they are in US custody we are responsible for the welfare of all detainees be they illegal immigrants or asylum seekers.

No one is sure how the Houston thing turned into a white guy - there multiple witnesses so how did everyone get it wrong? The families vehicle wasn't the intended target either. That is part of a broader societal and gun issue that can't be solved with a hearing or two.
